Why New Jersey waterfront properties need aerials

From the parking lot, a marina is a fence and a row of masts. From 250 feet, you see the slip count, fairway widths, the approach channel, and the open water beyond. Waterfront homes are the same: the water view that sells the house is hard to show from the ground.

Clubs, marinas, and marine businesses

Membership marketing, seasonal slip sales, event spaces, and boatyard services. Our portfolio includes Anchorage Yacht Club on Long Island and a powerboat tracking sequence, both on the video page.

Planned around tide, light, and wind

Coastal shoots are scheduled against the tide, the sun, and the marine wind forecast, so the flight happens in the calmest, best-lit part of the day.

Waterfront questions

What waterfront work do you do?

Marinas and yacht clubs, waterfront homes and developments, boatyards, and boats underway: docks, slips, moorings, approach channels, and the properties behind them, photographed from the angle that shows how they fit together.

Can you film moving boats?

Yes. Tracking a boat underway takes careful planning and an experienced pilot; the powerboat sequence on our video page shows the result.

Is coastal wind a problem for drone flights?

It's a scheduling factor. Shore flights are planned against the marine forecast and flown in the calmer part of the day. If conditions won't be safe or won't look good, we call it the day before and reschedule at no charge.

When is the best time of year for marina photography?

In season, when the slips are full and the boats are in the water, typically late spring through early fall. An off-season marina of shrink-wrapped hulls on stands tells a different story, which suits a boatyard's storage marketing better than a slip sale.

Can you fly over a busy marina or club?

Yes, with planning. FAA rules limit flight over people, so we choose launch points and flight paths that keep the aircraft clear of docks and decks in use, coordinate with the dockmaster or club manager, and time the shoot for quieter hours.
